Reading and using the site

You can read every guide without an account and without accepting analytics. Search text, checklist answers, conversation choices, and gift-selector answers are processed in your browser. We do not send them to Google Analytics or a site database.

Your display preference and analytics choice are stored locally in your browser. We ask again after 180 days. If browser storage is blocked, a choice lasts for the current page only.

Optional Google Analytics

With your permission, quiet.ai uses Google Analytics 4 to measure page visits, approximate geographic and device information, reading to 90% of a page, and clicks on our email or Telegram contact links. Google uses first-party analytics cookies to distinguish visits. Our analytics cookies are configured to expire after 180 days.

We send a fixed public page address and title, the domain name, page type, language, and contact channel. Query strings, URL fragments, search terms, tool selections, and the full referring-page address are excluded from our event payloads. We do not enable advertising personalization, Google signals, user IDs, or automatic form and site-search tracking.

No Google Analytics script is loaded before you allow analytics. Declining leaves the site usable. You can withdraw permission through Analytics preferences in the footer; this stops further collection and removes our analytics cookies. Withdrawal does not delete data already received by Google. This privacy page itself does not send analytics events.

Our account combines this site with related publications, using a separate data stream for each domain. Google may process data on servers outside your country. See Google’s privacy policy and Google Analytics data safeguards for more information.

Contact and external services

Opening an email link uses your email app. Joining the Telegram group takes you to Telegram, whose own privacy terms apply. Please avoid sending sensitive personal or health information through these channels.

The hosting provider may process technical request information, such as IP addresses and requested pages, to deliver and secure the site. This is separate from optional Google Analytics. For privacy questions, use the contact details below.
